This campsite has a relaxed and festive atmosphere, the busiest part of which is the water park with its pools, slides, water games, sauna and spa.
It is a family camp site, with clubs for children and teens and a wide range of leisure equipment. In its extensive park of 6 hectares, it has large trampolines, a sports ground (handball, basketball and volleyball), a rope pyramid, table tennis, a petanque area, children's playground, etc., all free of charge. However, the billiards, bowling and go-karts are charged for.
Among other services, La Grande Tortue has a restaurant, snack bar, grocery store, fresh bread and a wine shop, and sells tickets for visiting the Loire châteaux and Beauval Zoo.

Getting to the camping
TRAIN: Onzain station (6 km)
CAR: From Paris take the A10 towards Orléans/Bordeaux. Take exit 17 towards Blois/Vendôme. Head for Vierzon, cross the Loire and follow signs for Pontlevoy-Montrichard. After Chailles, follow signs for Candé-sur-Beuvron.

Only 5 km from the camp site is the majestic Domaine de Chaumont. As well as the château and gardens, each year the estate hosts the International Garden Festival.
