Au Petit Rocher, friendliness, relaxation and daytime events are at the heart of how things work. Created to be a relaxing place for everyone, this campsite offers opportunities for the whole family to make the most of your holiday with young children (including, amongst other things, baby kits to rent). The team promises you a good dose of entertainment all whilst making sure the calm atmosphere of the Petit Rocher is kept intact: « Mini-Club » (during the school holidays), aqua-gym, sport tournaments, themed evenings, discos, games evenings, boules tournaments, cabaret evenings, etc. From April to September, enjoy the inside pool to challenge your friends to a swimming race or take a dive off the end of one of the water slides. In order to savour your freedom, relax on the terrace all whilst listening to your children playing in the water garden. To get rid of some energy you can play football, basketball or volleyball on the Petit Rocher's multi-sport arena.
After your adventures, take some time to look after yourself with essential oil massages, and other treatments, at the wellbeing area. Onsite, there is access to an array of amenities like the Petit Rocher snack restaurant (April to September), the convenience store and the laundrette. There are also a large number of shops outside the campsite.
Longeville-sur-mer is a small quiet town by the sea, surrounded by a beautiful forest. It's nestled in a very touristic area, with Talmont-Saint-Hilaire located only a few kilometres away. This village is home to a rich historical heritage and offers a large number of leisure activities. The " 7th continent" aquarium, which can be found just a stone's throw away from the ocean, has a diverse range of tropical fish and plants on display. Relive the era of Richard the Lionheart in the 11th century at the Talmont castle. Discover the history of the site and the people who formed it by following in their footsteps along a magical walk punctuated with images, sounds and smells. For younger members of the family the « Folie de Finfarine» site in Poiroux is a great place to relax in the shade of trees to learn about bees and honey. La Tranche-sur-Mer, which is less than 15 minutes away, is also very lively during the summer months. From La Rochelle (to the south) to the Sables d'Olonne (to the north), you will not be short of tourist, sporting, cultural and gastronomic attractions to discover. If you head down towards the Charente-Maritime, be sure to go to l'Aiguillon. The area stretches across 12km in length and around 700m in width with a surface of 1043ha. Previously known as Eguillon, as in "the sharp tip", it gave its name to the bay. The area, with its wild characteristics, offers a unique panoramic view of the Île de Ré. This natural environment, a genuine chaine of dunes, leads to the ocean. It offers an excellent area to sport migratory birds. Further south, the Corderie Royale in Rochefort is a must see for marine history enthusiasts. On the way back, make sure you spend a decent amount of time discovering La Rochelle. If you choose to visit the Vendée, you can head up to Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, Saint-Jean-de-Monts and, why not even, Pornic. You'll be able to discover costal footpaths, breathtaking costal views, small coves and Bluebeard's castle. It's also worth noting that the famous Puy du Fou is located just over an hour away from the campsite, making its impressive show easily accessible to you.
