In the North of Volonne, the town of Gap is the departure point for excursions in the neighbouring mountains. Don't miss the magnificent black marble mausoleum in Duc de Lesdiguières. Take the Verdon Gorge path, green and wild, where the waters have always shaped the surrounding countryside. From there, follow the black truffle route or even the Olivier path. Right at the heart of the Verdon regional park, with the Lubéron regional park right next door, you won't be missing out on walks and contact with flora and fauna. The towns of Digne and de Moustiers in the East are great to visit, especially de Moustiers, known for its top of the range earthenware.
